About Shanghai Auto Expo Park and Auto Museum
A 76-hectare lakeside park in Anting's International Automobile City, completed in 2006 around the Shanghai Auto Museum, which opened in 2007 and is described by the city as China's first specialised car museum. Since a 2022 refit the museum's first three floors trace the history of the motor car with more than 100 vehicles from around 50 makers, and the top floor is a car-themed play area for children.
How to get to Shanghai Auto Expo Park and Auto Museum
In Anting, Jiading District, a short taxi ride from Anting or Shanghai Automobile City station on Metro Line 11, about 75 minutes from central Shanghai. The museum is closed on Mondays.
