About Jingyuetan National Forest Park
A large forest park around the Jingyuetan reservoir on the south-eastern edge of Changchun, begun in the 1930s as a man-made forest and now one of the city's main outdoor spaces. Visitors come for lakeside and forest walks; in winter the park hosts skiing and a snow-sculpture area, and the Vasaloppet China cross-country ski festival has been held here every year since 2003.
How to get to Jingyuetan National Forest Park
About 16 km south-east of central Changchun; light-rail line 3 and several city bus routes run to the park.
