About Jinshitan (Golden Pebble Beach)
Jinshitan is a coastal resort area in Jinzhou district, approved by the State Council as a national tourist resort in 1992. It is known for sea-eroded sedimentary rock formations several hundred million years old, now protected in a national coastal geological park, along with the Golden Coast beach and Jinshi Garden. Other attractions include the Discovery Kingdom theme park, a wax museum and a life-science museum.
How to get to Jinshitan (Golden Pebble Beach)
On the coast in Jinzhou district, about 37 km east-north-east of central Dalian (about 48 km by road), and linked to the city by Dalian Metro Line 3 to Jinshitan station.
