About Heyuan Dinosaur Culture Park and Guifeng Pagoda

A riverside park below Guifeng Hill in Heyuan that groups the Heyuan Dinosaur Museum, the city museum and the Song-dynasty Guifeng Pagoda. The dinosaur museum holds more than 20,000 fossil dinosaur eggs, a collection recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest. On the hilltop, the 42.6 m six-sided brick pagoda, begun in 1132, is the only early Southern Song pagoda in Guangdong with an exactly dated inscription, and its seven outer storeys hide fourteen floors inside.
