About Weiji Ancient Town and Wei's Manor

Weiji Ancient Town is a tourist zone in Weiji town, one of Huimin County's Yellow River towns, that links two groups of Ming-Qing-style buildings, Wei's Manor and the Weiji old village, along a new old-style street. Wei's Manor, a national heritage unit, is a fortified landowner's compound completed in 1893: a walled rectangle of about 84 by 46 m with round corner turrets and some 48 rooms in six courtyards. The old village is a modern imitation of Ming-Qing houses with more than 200 snack shops, workshops and small attractions, and folk performances in the evenings.
