About Jiaoji Railway Museum (Former Jinan Station)
The 1915 station building of the German-built Jiaoji (Qingdao-Jinan) railway, in European style with an Ionic stone colonnade and a mansard roof, once held a station hotel and later railway offices. It is now the main building of the Jiaoji Railway Museum, with galleries on how the line was built and its effect on Shandong, a reconstructed station-master's room and a steam locomotive on show. It suits railway and architecture enthusiasts.
