About Juye Confucian Temple

Juye Confucian Temple is a Ming-dynasty temple moved to its present site in 1383, of which only the Dacheng Hall survived the temple's closure in 1947. The hall is a five-bay building with a double-eaved gable-and-hip roof, green glazed tiles and carved stone columns, modelled on the Dacheng Hall at Qufu; the gate and side wings were rebuilt in the 1990s and 2000s. A calligraphy corridor of the Analects and old cypresses line the courtyard.
