About Casa Garden
A mansion of 1770 whose first known owner was a wealthy Portuguese merchant, later rented to the British East India Company, whose senior staff lived here. It now houses the Macau branch of the Orient Foundation, with a garden beside Camões Square (Praça de Luís de Camões). In the 1960s it served as a museum devoted to the Portuguese poet Luís de Camões.
