About Sansu Shrine
The former family home of the Song-dynasty writers Su Xun and his sons Su Shi (Su Dongpo) and Su Zhe, turned into a memorial shrine in the early Yuan and now run as a museum. Red walls enclose ponds, bamboo and old trees, with halls holding statues of the Su family, an old well, an inkstone-washing pond and a collection of calligraphy and paintings. It was badly damaged in the 2013 Lushan earthquake and reopened after repairs in 2016.
