About Wuliang Pagoda

Nanchong's White Pagoda, a brick pagoda modelled on timber construction, stands on Heming Mountain in Gaoping District, looking across the Jialing River to the city centre. Its date is disputed, with proposals ranging from the late Tang to the Southern Song, but it is regarded as the earliest of Sichuan's Song-era pagodas and a record of the shift from Tang to Song design. The hill around it is laid out as the Heming Mountain park, with walks and river views.
