About China Maritime Museum
China's national maritime museum, opened in 2010 beside Dishui Lake in Lingang, in a building whose central roof is shaped like a white sail. Six halls cover navigation history, ships, ports, maritime safety, seafarers and naval history, and the central hall holds a full-size replica of a Ming-dynasty Fujian-type sailing ship modelled on those of Zheng He's fleets. It suits anyone interested in ships and China's seafaring past.
How to get to China Maritime Museum
