About Dazhai
A village in the Taihang foothills that was promoted nationwide in the 1960s and 1970s as a national model for agricultural production, under the slogan "In agriculture, learn from Dazhai". The scenic area takes in the former Dazhai People's Commune buildings (a national heritage unit dated 1966), the Dazhai Exhibition Hall and a cultural exhibition hall, and a walking route up Hutou Mountain. It suits visitors interested in the history of China's rural collectivisation.

In Dazhai town, about 5 km south of Xiyang.
