About Qiankun Bay
A great looping meander of the Yellow River in the Shanxi–Shaanxi canyon at Yanchuan, promoted as the 'first bend of the Yellow River' and part of the Yellow River Meanders national geopark. Viewpoints on the Shaanxi rim look down on the river curling around a spur of loess hills, with Shanxi on the far bank; the scenic area was raised to the national 5A rating in 2024.
