About Tomb of Puhaddin
The walled cemetery of Puhaddin, an Arab missionary said to be a 16th-generation descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, who came to Yangzhou in the late Southern Song and died in 1275. His square tomb chamber combines an Arab-style domed interior with a Chinese tiled roof, and around it are other Muslim graves, a pavilion with four Yuan-dynasty Arabic tombstones, a small mosque and a garden. It is on China's list of sites for a future Maritime Silk Road World Heritage nomination.
