About Yuze Lake Park

A city park in Yumen's new town, begun in 2000 when the city government moved here from the old oil town, laid out around an inner lake, an outer lake and a newer extension. Paths link a cultural promenade, squares, a lake island, wetland and a children's play area, with landmarks such as the Yanyu Pavilion, a memorial archway, a zigzag bridge, an old-style water tower and a Ferris wheel.

How to get to Yuze Lake Park

On Tieren Avenue in the new town of Yumen, about 150 km north-west of Jiuquan by road.
