Tunchang 屯昌Túnchāng
Hill farms and a fragrance garden in the middle of the island

About Tunchang
Tunchang, a county governed directly by the province, sits in the middle of Hainan where the northern plains begin to climb towards the central uplands, a country of low hills, farms and villages. Its best-known sight is Menghuan Xiangshan Fragrance Park, a hillside garden of scented flowers and herbs, lemon orchards and some 10,000 agarwood trees, with a fragrance museum. Local cooks prize Tunchang black pork, served in a hotpot with noodles in pork-bone broth.
