Hot springs, osmanthus and the traditional site of the Red Cliffs battle

About Xianning
Xianning, in the hills south of Wuhan, bills itself as China's hot-spring city, with resorts clustered in the Wenquan area on the edge of the city, and osmanthus trees scent its autumn. On the Yangtze at Chibi, a riverside cliff is the traditional site of the Battle of Red Cliffs of 208. In Chibi's old town of Yangloudong, merchants once packed brick tea for the caravan trade to Russia, and the Jiugong Mountains rise on the Jiangxi border to the south.
