Wuzhong 吴忠Wúzhōng
Teahouse breakfasts, a hillside of 108 stupas and Tan sheep on the desert edge

About Wuzhong
Wuzhong is a heartland of the Hui, who make up more than half its people, and it is known for morning tea: eight-treasure tea, hand-pulled noodles, beef and pastries served in hundreds of teahouses. In the Qingtongxia Yellow River Grand Canyon, the One Hundred and Eight Stupas rise in a triangle above the river. To the south stands Tongxin Great Mosque, Ningxia's oldest, while Yanchi, where the Ming Great Wall crosses the edge of the Mu Us Desert, is famed for its Tan sheep.
