About Yinshan Pagoda Forest
A group of eighteen Buddhist pagodas in the hills of Yanshou town, the tomb pagodas of monks from temples that flourished below the dark cliffs of 'Iron Wall, Silver Mountain' from the Jin dynasty onwards. Five Jin brick pagodas with dense eaves stand together on the site of Fahua Temple, which Japanese troops destroyed in 1941, with a Yuan pagoda nearby and smaller Yuan and Ming stupas scattered on the slopes.
