About Baiyun Mountain

Baiyun Mountain is a forested range of many peaks on the northern edge of central Guangzhou, a scenic area since ancient times and a popular place for walks, climbs and views over the city. Paths and roads lead to Moxing Ling, the highest peak, the Mingzhu Tower area, Nengren Temple, a stele forest and the Yuntai Garden near the main south gate, and a cable car rises from the visitor centre to the summit area.

How to get to Baiyun Mountain

The main south gate is on Guangyuan Middle Road, about 6 km north of the old city centre, reached by bus or taxi; there are many other gates around the mountain.
