About Mission Hills Haikou
A large resort complex on a black lava plateau south of Haikou, developed since the late 2000s around ten 18-hole golf courses. Besides hotels it has a volcanic hot-spring valley with 168 hot and cold pools, a water park, the Feng Xiaogang Movie Commune (a film-set town recreating streets of twentieth-century China, with stage shows) and a duty-free mall, outlet shops and restaurants. It suits golfers, families and shoppers more than sightseers.
How to get to Mission Hills Haikou
In Longqiao town, Longhua district, about 20 km south-east of Haikou.
