Its displays include a reconstructed scene of the signing of the 1858 Treaty of Aigun, a panorama painting of the 1900 events at Blagoveshchensk (Hailanpao), archaeological finds and ethnic artefacts from the Heilongjiang basin, and local Qing-period weapons. The grounds hold a rebuilt Kuixing Pavilion and a heritage stele marking the old town.
