About Flora Garden
A European-style garden at the foot of Guia Hill, once the grounds of an aristocratic mansion, with a stone gateway that was the old guardhouse. A straight avenue lined with palms and flowering shrubs leads to formal flowerbeds, and a stone path winds up past small waterfalls and viewpoints towards Guia Hill. A short cable car near the gate also climbs to the hill.
How to get to Flora Garden
On Avenida de Sidónio Pais, about 1.4 km east-north-east of Senado Square, with a bus stop at the garden.
