About Foc Tac Temple, Horta da Mitra

A Lingnan-style temple built in 1886 and renovated in 1986, where worshippers honour the Earth God, A-Ma, two gods of wealth and Tai Soi, the god of the year. The wall around its entrance patio is topped with green glazed balusters and floral ornaments of the kind seen on Macau's Western-style buildings. An inscription in both Chinese and Portuguese is the only one of its kind in a Macau temple.
