A mansion built before 1894 as the home of Dona Carolina Cunha, bought in 1918 by the Hong Kong businessman Sir Robert Ho Tung as a retreat. The first floor holds a collection of old Chinese books, some going back to the Ming dynasty, and the building stands on St Augustine's Square (Largo de Santo Agostinho).
