About Three Bridges of Shuanglin

Three stone arch bridges, Wankui, Huacheng and Wanyuan, span the Shuanglin canal within about 350 m of each other on the north side of Shuanglin, an old silk town in Nanxun district. Each has three arches on thin piers; Huacheng, in the middle, began as a Yuan-dynasty wooden bridge rebuilt in stone in the Ming, and the tallest, Wanyuan, dates from a rebuilding finished in 1840.
