About Shenyang Railway Museum
A railway museum on an 80,000-square-metre site in Sujiatun district, with some 800 pieces of railway equipment, including dozens of locomotives, and more than 1,500 historical photographs. Steam locomotives on show include a US-built engine of 1907, a German-built 'forest railway' locomotive of 1914 and a Japanese-built locomotive of 1934, and a green-carriage 'time train' recreates an old platform scene. A railway-themed square outside has sculptures and a small sightseeing train.
