About Likeng Village
Likeng, in Qiukou town, is a Li-clan village where lanes follow a winding stream crossed by dozens of stone, timber and brick bridges, with Ming and Qing houses on both banks. Four Ming houses and dozens from the Qing survive, and the village's families produced nine jinshi in the Song dynasty; named views such as the Twin Bridges and the Jiao Spring are marked along the stream. Do not confuse it with Likeng (理坑) in Tuochuan township, a different village listed separately.
