About Zhengzhou Shang City
The visitor area on the remains of Zhengzhou's early Shang-dynasty capital, a national heritage site whose rammed-earth inner wall ran for about 7 km round what is now the heart of the city. The 0.21 km² area between Chengdong Road, Chengnan Road, Zijingshan Road and East Street combines the Shang capital national archaeological park, with paths along and over stretches of the ancient city wall, the Zhengzhou Shang Capital Site Museum with about 5,500 m² of galleries, and the museum of the city's archaeology institute showing its major excavated finds.
How to get to Zhengzhou Shang City
In Guancheng District about 2 km east of Erqi Square, by Dongdajie (Line 2) and Zhengzhou Wenmiao (Line 3) metro stations; the site museum is closed on Mondays except public holidays.
