About Anshun
Anshun is the base for Huangguoshu Waterfall and the karst country around it, where boats carry visitors along the underground river of the Longgong (Dragon Palace) cave. Across the plain lie the tunbao, stone-walled villages founded by Ming soldiers from the lower Yangtze, whose descendants keep their own dress and masked dixi opera at places such as Tianlong Tunbao and Yunfeng Tunbao. Guanling Fossil Park protects marine fossils more than 200 million years old.
