Wuhan 武汉Wǔhàn
Three towns at the meeting of the Han and Yangtze, and hot dry noodles to go

About Wuhan
Wuhan grew from three towns, Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang, that face one another where the Han River flows into the Yangtze. The rebuilt Yellow Crane Tower on Snake Hill looks across the Yangtze, Hankou keeps its old concession streets and the Hankow Customs House, and in 1911 an uprising in Wuchang set off the revolution that ended the Qing dynasty. East Lake, ringed by parks and Wuhan University, gives the city room to breathe.
