About Aberdeen Harbour

Aberdeen Harbour is a working fishing harbour and typhoon shelter between Hong Kong Island and Ap Lei Chau, where traditional fishing boats are still moored. Visitors can take a sampan or tour boat around the harbour, walk the Aberdeen Promenade or see the Aberdeen Wholesale Fish Market, which was built in 1950. Floating restaurants and harbourfront eateries are part of the draw.

How to get to Aberdeen Harbour

At the west end of the harbour on the south side of Hong Kong Island, about 2 km west of Wong Chuk Hang MTR station, with buses 48 and 78 running from the fish market to that station.
