About Law Uk Folk Museum
Law Uk is a Hakka village house more than 200 years old, built for a family surnamed Law and the only one left intact in Chai Wan. It follows the typical 'three-bay, two-chamber' Hakka plan, with a central main hall, a light well and a forecourt once used for drying grain and laundry. Restored in 1989, it now operates as a branch of the Hong Kong Museum of History.
