About Yantan Scenic Area
The reservoir area of the Yantan hydropower station on the Hongshui River, whose 110 m dam was built between 1985 and 1995, now developed for lakeside stays. Its landmark is Meinü (Beauty) Peak, a karst ridge said to resemble a sleeping woman, where a campsite opened in 2023 with space-capsule pods, forest cabins, RV pitches, tent lodges, a hotel, hiking paths and viewing platforms over the lake.

Around Yantan town in north-western Dahua county, about 1.5 hours by road from Dahua county town.
