Its black-brick halls follow traditional Chinese building styles with Islamic decoration around two courtyards, with a prayer hall, two lecture halls, a washing room and a moon-viewing tower added in 1939. The mosque holds a handwritten Arabic Quran in 30 volumes and seven stone tablets from the Qing dynasty and later.
