About Lui Seng Chun
Lui Seng Chun is a four-storey tong lau (a Hong Kong shophouse) built in 1931 for Lui Leung, a founder of the Kowloon Motor Bus Company, and declared a monument in 2022. The building mixes neo-classical style with Art Deco lines and has a curved front on a triangular corner site; the Lui family ran a Chinese medicine shop on the ground floor and lived above. It was given to the government in 2003 and has been a Chinese medicine and healthcare centre run by Hong Kong Baptist University since 2012.
