About San Po Kong
San Po Kong is a largely industrial district in east Kowloon, south of Wong Tai Sin and north of the former Kai Tak Airport. Older factory buildings now stand alongside office towers, independent shops and long-established local eateries, and the Mikiki shopping mall opened in 2011 on the site of the old magistrates' courts. It is a place to wander through an everyday side of Hong Kong rather than to tick off a single sight.
