About Nanyue Temple, Dengfeng

A small temple in the middle of Dajindian town, said to have been founded under the Jin dynasty, with courtyards of halls to popular gods that have mostly been rebuilt. The main Fujun Hall is the historic core: a three-bay building with a single-eaved hip-and-gable roof of grey tiles, bracket sets under the eaves and beams painted with dragons, standing on a terrace, with a timber frame that the heritage bureau dates to the Jin dynasty.
