About Former Residence of Xu Xiake

The three-courtyard house, rebuilt in the Qing dynasty, keeps a podocarpus said to have been planted by Xu himself, and the nearby rebuilt Qingshan Hall holds 76 stone tablets carved with Yuan and Ming calligraphy he collected from 88 writers, including Song Lian, Wen Zhengming and Zhu Yunming.
