About Guangxi Museum of Nationalities

A museum of the cultures of Guangxi's 12 long-established ethnic groups beside the Yong River within the Qingxiu Mountain scenic area, completed in December 2008 and opened to the public in May 2009, in a main building whose shape is taken from a bronze drum. Its four permanent exhibitions cover bronze drums, the ethnic cultures of Guangxi, Zhuang culture and everyday objects of the past century, and an open-air park shows traditional houses of different groups.
