About Qingxiu Mountain
A hilly park of 18 low ridges on the north bank of the Yong River in south-eastern Nanning, developed from a former forest farm since 1984, whose highest point rises to 289 m. Its themed gardens include a cycad garden with about a hundred plants more than 1,000 years old, a large orchid garden, a rainforest garden and the China–ASEAN Friendship Garden, linked by a covered Friendship Corridor in the style of Dong wind-and-rain bridges. Paths also lead to the Guanyin Chan Temple, founded in the Northern Song, and the Ming-style Longxiang Pagoda, built in 1986 on the summit.
