About Yongfeng Warehouse Site

The site of a large state warehouse used from the Southern Song to the Ming, best known as the Yongfeng storehouse of the Yuan dynasty, excavated in 2001–2002 beside the Drum Tower. Finds included ceramics from kilns across China and Persian blue-glazed pottery, evidence of Ningbo's overseas trade. The excavation was backfilled, and a park opened in 2009 shows a full-size replica of the foundations from boardwalks.
