About Cheung Ancestral Hall, Shan Ha Tsuen
Built in 1815 by the Cheung clan of Shan Ha Tsuen, this grey-brick ancestral hall has two halls around an open courtyard and an altar carved with the Eight Immortals. The clan used it for gatherings and ancestral worship, and from the 1930s to the 1950s it also housed Wah Fung School. A major restoration was carried out in 1999.
