About Kwong Fook Tsz
Also known as Pak Shing Temple, this temple on Tai Ping Shan Street was built in 1895 with funds raised by Chinese community leaders. It enshrines Ksitigarbha, Chai Kung, Shui Ching Pak and Tai Sui, and holds the soul tablets of Chinese workers who died in Hong Kong in the early years. Its three-hall, two-courtyard layout is rare among Hong Kong temples, and Shiwan ceramics decorate the ridge of the entrance hall.
