About Hong Kong Museum of Art
The Hong Kong Museum of Art, the city's first public art museum, stands on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and holds a collection of about 20,000 items. The collection centres on Chinese antiquities, Chinese painting and calligraphy, China trade art and modern Hong Kong art, and displays rotate alongside special exhibitions. The building, renovated between 2015 and 2019, has floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Victoria Harbour.
