About Nathan Road
Nathan Road is Kowloon's main thoroughfare, running north from Tsim Sha Tsui through Jordan, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok to Prince Edward. About 3.6 kilometres long, it is lined with shops, restaurants, malls and places of worship, and was once nicknamed the Golden Mile. It was named in 1909 after the governor Sir Matthew Nathan, and the Hong Kong Tourism Board presents it as a place to experience Kowloon's energy.
