About Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station
The Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station was built in 1922 in Edwardian style and is one of Hong Kong's few surviving pre-war police stations. It is a Grade II historic building whose facade has appeared in many Hong Kong crime films, including Infernal Affairs. Part of it now holds a government-backed exhibition, Yau Ma Tei Police Station: A Cinematic Journey, with a retro cinema entrance, a re-created 1970s and 1980s detective office and open detention cells.
