About Hong Kong Coliseum
Opened in 1983, the Hong Kong Coliseum is an indoor arena shaped like an inverted pyramid, built from the roof downwards to leave the 1,600-square-metre arena floor without columns. It seats more than 12,500 and hosts concerts, sports events and conferences, so most visitors come for a show rather than the building itself. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
