About T·PARK

T·PARK is a sludge treatment plant run by the Environmental Protection Department, where incineration cuts the volume of sewage sludge by 90 per cent and the recovered heat and power run the site. Visitors can take a guided tour, see the exhibition hall and the viewing windows onto the plant, and walk the 9,800 square metres of landscaped grounds, which include a water-bird sanctuary on Deep Bay. Three spa pools with sea views are heated by energy recovered from the incinerators.

How to get to T·PARK

About 5.8 km west-north-west of Tuen Mun MTR station (about 16 km by road). The Environmental Protection Department runs a shuttle bus from Tuen Mun V city mall, reached from Exit D of the station, and says no public buses or minibuses go to the site; visits must be booked in advance, and it is closed on Tuesdays.
