About Site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters, Hankou

This was the first headquarters of the New Fourth Army, set up in Hankou in late 1937 when Communist-led guerrilla forces in southern China were reorganised under the National Revolutionary Army; the headquarters moved to Nanchang in January 1938.
